IAHI Affiliate Faculty

IAHI Faculty Affiliates are faculty from across the disciplines who work with the IU Indianapolis Arts & Humanities Institute to pursue research and creative activities that support the mission of IU Indianapolis.

The goal of the program is to create a multidisciplinary cluster of faculty who will collaborate, support each other, and advance scholarship in the arts, humanities, and qualitative social sciences.

IAHI Affiliate Faculty will receive invitations to special IAHI events, giving them the opportunity to engage with faculty from across campus in thoughtful conversations.

The IAHI is particularly interested in helping faculty develop new research collaborations and pursue competitive research grants. IAHI Faculty Affiliates will have the opportunity to receive support from the IAHI in developing grant proposals as well as forming working groups and communities of practice.

The IAHI Affiliate Faculty appointment is renewable every two years, during which time, we request that faculty

1. participate in IAHI programming (attend events throughout the academic year);
2. foster a collaborative environment that advances scholarship in the arts, humanities, and qualitative social sciences at IU Indianapolis;
3. promote opportunities offered by the IAHI to faculty, students, and community members.

We invite all faculty in the arts, humanities, and qualitative social sciences to apply to become IAHI Affiliates. Please send a 1-page letter of interest and attach a 2-4 page CV to iahi@iu.edu.
